The Aquios® jumbo salt free water softener replacement cartridge is the first all-in-one combination water filtration and water conditioning filter for residential market. Specifically designed for larger homes and commercial applications, the higher flow rate, larger surface area and carbon block/siliphos technology will ensure that your water is clean, great tasting and eliminates scale build-up.
The carbon block filter is rated at 1 micron, and will reduce chlorine taste and odor, volatile organic compounds, chloroforms and utilizes a natural, polyphosphate additive known as Siliphos to soften and condition your water.
Siliphos has been utilized in the commercial food service industry for thirty years and has been proven to be effective in both eliminating and reducing existing scale build-up on fixtures, pipes and appliances. In addition, it doesn't utilized salt, is environmentally friendly and keeps new scale and calcium deposits from forming on your pipes and appliances.
The Aquios Jumbo filter has a rating of up to 100,000 gallons*. It is recommended that the filter be replaced every 4 months for a typical family of four.
